THANK YOU SIR ALEX FERGUSON
He led Manchester United FC to 13 league titles, five FA cups and that’s is none other than Sir Alex Ferguson,71, who retired as the club manager on Wednesday.
The social media went abuzz after the news of his retirement broke in the early hours of the day.
After reading some tweets and comments on facebook I realized how fans around the world love and appreciate his work. It was as if he has passed away- as United supporters and others were expressing their sadness about his retirement.
After 26 years in the club, Ferguson served Red Devils with dignity and had been bringing smiles on their supporters.
In 2002, he wanted to retire but later changed his mind. Since then, he scooped 6 league titles with the club.
I’m not a Manchester united but I believed this club is a best club in the world and had a best manager it ever had.
His approach of the game, tactics and understanding between him and players demonstrated the unity in the club.
The club hasn’t announced who will fill his position but speculations are the David Moyes, whom his club (Everton) confirmed his departure at the end of the season, might be Ferguson successor.
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has also been linked with the club but I believe Mourinho would not be the best choice for Red Devils.
I prefer Moyes then Mourinho.
United have some great and experienced players and I’m looking to hear who will be named the new manager of the club.
My question is, will Ferguson successor continue with the same football style, victories and maintain the level of the club?
Well, this question will be answered once he has begun his work. I’m wishing him all the best.
